YouTube under the name "The
Weeknd", though his identity was
initially unknown. In 2011, he
released three nine-track
mixtapes: House of Balloons,
Thursday, and Echoes of Silence,
which were critically acclaimed.

released under Universal

Mahone was chosen as one of the opening acts of Taylor Swift 's Red Tour [3] and Bridgit Mendler 's Summer Tour with selected dates. He is currently signed to Young Money Entertainment , Cash Money Records and Republic Records preping his debut album Junior Year. [4]
