Blackberry suffers huge loss of more than $995 million

The huge mobile phone producer, Blackberry is reported to have serious financial problems. The canadian company is said to have lost $995 million. This is really shocking, this company was ruling the mobile phones market but it is now crashing. They recently sold their blackberry messager app rights to samsung. They must have sold it at a very large amount of money, making a lot of gain enriching the company, yet the reverse is the case, they are even planning to lay off about 4,500 workers so as to be able to balance itself.
They might also be thinking of selling the company to potential buyers

Some people are hoping the canadian goverment comes to there rescue but i think it is very unlikely. This crisis if not dealt properly can lead to the selling of the company to investors I sincerely hope the recover from this.
