Blackberry suffers huge loss of more than $995 million

The huge mobile phone producer, Blackberry is reported to have serious financial problems. The canadian company is said to have lost $995 million. This is really shocking, this company was ruling the mobile phones market but it is now crashing. They recently sold their blackberry messager app rights to samsung. They must have sold it at a very large amount of money, making a lot of gain enriching the company, yet the reverse is the case, they are even planning to lay off about 4,500 workers so as to be able to balance itself.
They might also be thinking of selling the company to potential buyers

Some people are hoping the canadian goverment comes to there rescue but i think it is very unlikely. This crisis if not dealt properly can lead to the selling of the company to investors I sincerely hope the recover from this.

A girl striped naked after slashing bff with a razor on the face

In Benue state a girl used a razor blade to slash bff/neighbor's face. This was the result of a quarell between the to girl. The one who did the slashing and whom we will call girl 'A' accused the one slashed whom we will call girl 'B' of snatching her suger daddy (a boy friend that is a lot older than the girl and take care of her financial needs as along as she satisfies his sexual needs). She said she had found out that girl 'B' slept with her suger daddy. She also said she had just introduced her man to girl 'B'. So when she confronted 'B' about it a fiece argument broke out. But girl 'A' crossed the line when she got physical. She attacked her bff with a razor blade, slashing her face. Blood was everywhere. It was a really gory site.

The group good governance lnitiative,GGI reports that the government spent 25 billion naira on importing generator sets to supplement the insufficient power supply in the country.
The country barely is able to supply a tiny 4,000mw for the over 160 million people, while south africa with 50 million people generate 40,000mw
The deplorable state of power supply in the country is really affecting the country's businesses. It was reported that in 2012 the individual businesses including banks, and small scale business spent a total sum of over 2 billion naira. It was also reported that 60 million people who use generator sets spent over 1.56 billion naira. This has made so many business to colapse and even the ones remaining to lose a lot of money to power generation

Angry man kills his 2 years old daughter and another sacrifice's his son

Mr Habakuk a native of jos was reported to have murdered his 2 years old daughter because she had wet the bed. He says it was not intentional, that he did not mean to kill her. He lost his temper an continued to beat the child till she was stone cold dead. He blames the Devil for his actions, this i think is cliché because everyone has his freedom to choose whether to beat his child to death or not. 100,000 barrels of Nigerian crude oil each year

Nigeria whose major source of revenue is from it's crude oil suffers from frequent vandalism.
This results in the loss of more than a 100,000 barrels of crude oil annually, which in turn leads to the loss of billions of naira which could have been used in the development of the county. To curb this crime that is siphoning the nation's annual income the government has beefed up security in the Niger delta waters.
This security check would definately go along way in keeping an eye on the pipelines and reducing the vandalisms. But there have rumors that some of the security personnel migjt be in cohots with the vandals and that is why it has been difficult to get them. But there is no proof to that.
So will watch and wait to see how things would turn out to be, because the problem is not attended to properly then the country's annual revenue would suffer

for we to progess somethings have to be lost but even at that the affected ones have to be compensated. But when i asked those that were affected they said they had not recieved anything, not even a naira for houses worth millions of naira. It saden me to find out that the presidency reports to have released the compensation to the agency in charge of dispensing it but they( the agency ) have refused releasing it. Why? The affected persons say that the agency refuse to release the money because they refused to give them a 10% of their compensation. So to 'punish' the agency has used the claim that "they have no legal documents for the land" to cease their compensation But we should not forget that, that wasn't their directive. I'm just hoping the president will look into it
